MOBA Soccer Announces Girls DOC

April 8th, 2018, Peachtree City, GA: The MOBA Soccer Academy ownership is excited to officially announce the hiring of Bryan Waltenburg as the new Girls Director of Coaching. As the newly named Girls Director, Bryan will oversee all coaching aspects of the formation and operation of the Girls’ MOBA Soccer Youth Program. Bryan will also be responsible for MOBA hosted tournaments and play a vital role in its recreational soccer program as well as in MOBA’s community outreach and marketing program.

Bryan was most recently the Executive Director for Smyrna Soccer Club in which he was responsible for the Recreational, PDP, Academy and Select Soccer Programs in addition to running all day-to-day Operations/Communications for the club. Previously he was Operations, Marketing Communications and Administration Director (as well a Senior Elite Staff Coach/Trainer) for Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association where he was hired as the USSF Development Academy Director/Operations Manager in 2009, Premier League Director for Lonestar Soccer Club (Austin, TX) and Boys Coaching Director for Arsenal Soccer Club (Alta Loma, CA) in which during his tenure the club was voted Top US Boys Program by Soccer America. Coaching primarily Coast Soccer League (CSL) Premier, Region Premier League (SRPL) and USSF Development Academy teams, he has placed numerous players on United States National Teams, various professional club rosters and various Division I, II, III, and NAIA college programs. His teams/clubs have won some of the most prestigious tournaments in the US such as Surf Cup, Disney Showcase, Score Showcase, USYSA/US Club Nationals and even the Manchester United Nike Premier Cup (hosted at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR). Bryan served on the West Region (IV) ODP staff and holds a USSF “A” License and National Youth License.
