MOBA Soccer Academy Announces 2018 WPSL Head Coach     

Peachtree City, GA - November 2017- MOBA Soccer Academy announced today the head coach, Campbell Chapman, for the new Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Team, Peachtree City MOBA.

As a former professional player with clubs in England, Sweden, Finland, Malta, and Qatar and as a Northern Ireland U-23 National Team player, Campbell has had an outstanding playing  career, as well as a prestigious coaching career. 

Campbell is the current Technical Director for Gwinnett Soccer Academy and also GSA Girls ECNL Director of Coaching. “We are excited to have Campbell joining our team as head coach for the WPSL team”, states Volker Harms, Owner of MOBA Soccer Academy. “With his experience and connections on the women’s side, he is a perfect match, as he can build the team for a successful start in our inaugural season. “

Campbell has an FA Prelim Coaching Certificate and a USSAF A License and was assistant coach for the Atlanta Silverbacks W-League professional team, helping lead them to Conference Championships both years.   He has coached State ODP teams and in 2005 led his Georgia 89 ODP team to the National Championships Final Four. Under Campbell’s leadership, he has coached the GSA Phoenix 89 Girls, State Champions 2005, 2006, Regional Semi-finalist 2005, 2006 and R3PL champions in 2005.  With GSA ECNL, Campbell has won numerous conference championships including a national appearance with GSA ECNL 1997's which included Jennifer Westendorph (Brazil) and Ella Stevens (USA), and he also coached Elexa Bahr (Honduras).  All three of these ladies played in recent U-20 World Cup Qualifiers for their respective countries.

The Peachtree City MOBA Women’s team will be available for female soccer players ages 18 and older, starting with tryouts  over the college Spring break, to form a team for Summer 2018.
