Peachtree City, GA – March 15, 2017- MOBA Soccer Academy announced today that the club will join the Women’s Premier Soccer League in Summer of 2018.

“We are delighted to join the WPSL.  As of today, Peachtree City MOBA, will be the only WPSL team in the Atlanta area,” states Volker Harms, owner of the MOBA Soccer Academy. “We are clearly committed to support pre-professional soccer on the women’s side, so we are eager to create a Women’s team that can compete in the nation’s largest Women’s league, and open-up a career path for local female soccer players.  Just like with our Men’s PDL Team, our Women’s WPSL Team will have a strong connection to our new Youth Program, with everyone training side by side at the new complex.

Our youth players will provide us with a homegrown player pool feeding into our adult teams, including our new Women’s team.  We will train all our players in a world class environment, where they can develop to their maximum potential, and at the same time create a real club atmosphere, and give the local community some quality family entertainment.”

The Peachtree City MOBA Women’s team will be available for female soccer players ages 18 and older, starting with tryouts in December 2017, to form a team for Summer 2018.
